This very small mono amplifier is surprisingly powerful - it can deliver up to 2.5 Watts to 4-8 ohm speakers. Inside the miniature chip is a class D controller, capable of operating from 2.0V-5.5VDC. Because the amplifier is class D, it is very efficient (over 90% efficient when driving an 8Ω speaker).
