The Adafruit Feather Bluefruit Sense combines the popular Feather nRF52840 Express with a variety of sensors, creating an excellent platform for wireless measurement. This Feather microcontroller features Bluetooth Low Energy and USB support, with the main feature being the nRF52840. It is compatible with Arduino and has built-in battery charging.

With support for the Arduino IDE, users can program the nRF52840 chip directly, fully utilizing the Cortex-M4 processor. The platform also supports CircuitPython, making it easier to develop projects with BLE.

The device includes a range of sensors for environmental and motion measurements:

  • ST Micro series 9-DoF motion - LSM6DS33 Accel/Gyro + LIS3MDL magnetometer
  • APDS9960 Proximity, Light, Color, and Gesture Sensor
  • PDM audio microphone
  • SHT Humidity Sensor
  • BMP280 temperature and barometric pressure/altimeter
