Vitex Acrylan Silicon plastic paint is a silicone-modified acrylic, anti-mould paint designed for exterior surfaces. It has low water absorption and allows water vapour to escape, helping trapped moisture to leave the wall. It is suitable for areas with high humidity and pollution, extreme weather conditions, and the restoration of listed buildings.
It can be applied to new or previously painted plaster, concrete or skim-coated surfaces. Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oil and loose material; fill holes and cracks with Acrylic Putty. Priming with Acrylan Unco Eco is recommended. Dilute with water and apply using a roller, brush or airless spray gun. New plaster or cement surfaces must be left to dry for at least 30 days before application.
