The writing of a medical content work is the result of serious thought based on three basic criteria.
The first criterion is the subject to be described, in terms of practical interest to the reader. Foot disorders and the difficulties that arise from them, in footwear and walking, are among the most common problems at any age.

The second criterion is the author, who should be an expert and have provided writing samples in the past. The breadth of the subject as well as the audience to which the book will be addressed does not allow for it to be covered by just one author. For this reason, individuals of recognized scientific value and their involvement with foot disorders were chosen.

The criterion of the audience to which the book will be addressed greatly concerned the individual authors, as they had to maintain the scientific nature of their chapter, but also record the disorders in such a way that they would be understandable to individuals with broader interests.

Our disposition changed when we decided not only to dedicate it, but also to grant the rights of the book to the organization "Doctors of the World", as recognition of their high social mission in the difficult times our country is experiencing.
