Very large capsules in size, I had to cut them in half to take them and many times I choked while swallowing. It's better to choose another Solgar product.

I got it to help me sleep, I didn't exactly know where else it helps. Four days after I started it, my period came. I hardly felt any pain and I was surprised. I wanted the citric magnesium for many reasons.

I have to say that it has completely satisfied me. It has eliminated the cramps, works on migraines better than painkillers, helps with the muscle fatigue I had before my period, and the difference in sleep quality is very noticeable compared to when I wasn't taking it (I sleep deeper and "fuller"). The only thing I'm not sure about yet is the first one, as it will show long-term in tests. Έχω να πω ότι με έχει ικανοποιήσει απόλυτα. Έχει εξαλείψει τις κράμπες, λειτουργεί στς ημικρανίες καλύτερα από παυσίπονο, βοηθάει στη μυϊκή κόπωση που είχα πριν την περίοδο και είναι πολύ αισθητή η διαφορά στην ποιότητα του ύπνου απο όταν δεν το έπαιρνα (κοιμάμαι πιο βαθιά και "γεμάτα")Για το μοναδικό που δεν είμαι σίγουρη ακόμα είναι το πρώτο καθως θα φανεί μακροπρόθεσμα σε εξετάσεις. Γενικα θα το πρότεινα σίγουρα σε όποιον έχει οτιδήποτε από τα παραπάνω είναι ποιοτικά πολύ καλό και λειτουργεί πραγματικά. Παίρνω μόνο 1 κάψουλα την ημέρα.
I have not tried a similar product, but I consider this one quite satisfactory, as it has minimized the cramps I had during sleep. Due to high sugar, I tend to have cramps in my calves. For 2-3 days I start feeling small contractions and pulls in the muscles and then the painful cramp comes. However, if I take magnesium immediately, 1 capsule daily for 1-2 days, my legs calm down for months.
Besides that, for maintaining magnesium levels, I take around 1 capsule per week, for years now. I no longer have the frequent headaches and stiffness in the shoulders that I used to have, and I sleep immediately, deeply and undisturbed for 8 hours.

Very large capsules in size, I had to cut them in half to take them and many times I choked while swallowing. It's better to choose another Solgar product.

It really works like a sleeping aid. As soon as you take it, your eyes close immediately, so definitely 30 minutes before going to sleep is ideal. However, regarding muscle recovery after training, I didn't see much of a difference, at least in my case

The pill is very large to the point that it hurts the throat if it goes down a bit wrong when swallowing. Every time I am afraid I will choke! I tried to cut it but due to its thickness, the edges become sharp. I didn't notice any difference regarding fatigue or sleep quality. There was a difference with cramps, but not immediately. I would not buy the product again because of the size of the pill. I wonder how Solgar continues with this pill size when there are so many negative reviews about this issue.

Δεν είδα διαφορά όσον αφορά στην κόπωση ούτε στην ποιότητα του ύπνου. Στις κράμπες ναι υπήρξε διαφορά αλλά οχι αμέσως. Δεν θα ξαναγοραζα το προϊόν λόγω του μεγέθους του χαπιού. Απορώ με την solgar πως συνεχίζει με αυτό το μέγεθος του χαπιού όταν υπάρχουν τόσες αρνητικές κριτικές για αυτό το θέμα.

I got it to help me sleep, I didn't exactly know where else it helps. Four days after I started it, my period came. I hardly felt any pain and I was surprised. With a little research, I discovered that this change is likely due to magnesium. I think it also helped me with constipation. I will continue taking it and we'll see.

I wanted the citric magnesium for many reasons.
1) Reduction of oxalic acid absorption from food (due to kidney stone issues)
2) Cramps in the legs (due to venous insufficiency)
3) For unstable sleep and for migraines
4) For hormone regulation combined with evening Primrose (for those of you with ovarian cysts)
I have to say that it has completely satisfied me. It has eliminated the cramps, works on migraines better than painkillers, helps with the muscle fatigue I had before my period, and the difference in sleep quality is very noticeable compared to when I wasn't taking it (I sleep deeper and "fuller"). The only thing I'm not sure about yet is the first one, as it will show long-term in tests. In general, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has any of the above; it is of very good quality and really works. I take only 1 capsule a day.
Ηθελα το κιτρικό μαγνήσιο για πολλούς λόγους.
1) Μείωση απορρόφησης οξαλικών οξέων από τα τρόφιμα (λόγω προβλήματος νεφρολιθίασης)
2) Κράμπες στα πόδια (λόγω φλεβικής ανεπάρκειας.)
3) Για άστατο ύπνο και για τις ημικρανίες
4) για ρύθμιση των ορμονών συνδυαστικά με το evening Primrose (για όσες έχετε κύστεις ωοθηκών)
Έχω να πω ότι με έχει ικανοποιήσει απόλυτα. Έχει εξαλείψει τις κράμπες, λειτουργεί στς ημικρανίες καλύτερα από παυσίπονο, βοηθάει στη μυϊκή κόπωση που είχα πριν την περίοδο και είναι πολύ αισθητή η διαφορά στην ποιότητα του ύπνου απο όταν δεν το έπαιρνα (κοιμάμαι πιο βαθιά και "γεμάτα")Για το μοναδικό που δεν είμαι σίγουρη ακόμα είναι το πρώτο καθως θα φανεί μακροπρόθεσμα σε εξετάσεις. Γενικα θα το πρότεινα σίγουρα σε όποιον έχει οτιδήποτε από τα παραπάνω είναι ποιοτικά πολύ καλό και λειτουργεί πραγματικά. Παίρνω μόνο 1 κάψουλα την ημέρα.
I have not tried a similar product, but I consider this one quite satisfactory, as it has minimized the cramps I had during sleep. I take 2 pills on an almost daily basis (noon - evening) and I am quite satisfied. The only downside is the large size of the pill, which makes it difficult to swallow. Recommended.

Λαμβάνω 2 χαπάκια σε σχεδόν καθημερινή βάση (μεσημέρι - βράδυ) και είμαι αρκετά αυχαριστημένος. Μείον ένα στεράκι για το μεγάλο μέγεθος του χαπιού πράγμα που δυσκολεύει την κατάποση. Συστήνεται.
Due to high sugar, I tend to have cramps in my calves. For 2-3 days I start feeling small contractions and pulls in the muscles and then the painful cramp comes. However, if I take magnesium immediately, 1 capsule daily for 1-2 days, my legs calm down for months.
Besides that, for maintaining magnesium levels, I take around 1 capsule per week, for years now. I no longer have the frequent headaches and stiffness in the shoulders that I used to have, and I sleep immediately, deeply and undisturbed for 8 hours.
Λόγω υψηλού ζαχάρου, έχω τάση για κράμπες στις γάμπες. Για 2-3 μέρες αρχίζω να αισθάνομαι μικροσυσπάσεις και τραβήγματα στους μύες και μετά έρχεται η επώδυνη κράμπα. Αν όμως πάρω αμέσως το μαγνήσιο, 1 κάψουλα ημερησίως για 1-2 μέρες, τα πόδια μου ηρεμούν για μήνες.
Πέραν αυτού, για συντήρηση των αποθεμάτων μαγνησίου, παίρνω γύρω στην 1 κάψουλα την εβδομάδα, εδώ και χρόνια. Δεν έχω πια τους συχνούς πονοκεφάλους και ψύξεις στις ωμοπλάτες που είχα και κοιμάμαι αμέσως, βαθειά και αδιατάρακτα για 8 ώρες.
Edit - After more experience with the product, I changed my opinion. It doesn't relieve my cramps as much as I expected, which was the main reason I bought it. The first one I tried gave me a burst of energy for a while and then relaxation that helped me sleep at night. I took one every night, either after dinner or half an hour before I went to bed. As the days went by, their effectiveness decreased, as if my body got used to them, and after a week of use, they didn't do much for me. I took a break for 2-3 days, but it was the same. If they did relieve my cramps that I experience during sleep or when I wake up, it was only partially. I'm going back to the Quest Synergistic Magnesium 150mg with Vitamin B6, which one pill alone covered me and I didn't have any cramps, not even for fun, for one or two days. Maybe it has to do with each person's body, because it's true, they seem even more high-quality than the Quest ones. So don't rely on my experience. The truth is, I asked a pharmacist who had both brands and another well-known one, but they recommended the Quest. So I'm going back to that one, because it's terrible and unbearable to have cramps with terrible pain and the whole neighborhood hears you screaming, as if someone is cutting your muscles with an axe to remove them. Two bananas a day cover me better to avoid cramps (thanks to the trainer who told me!), If you get a cramp and don't have magnesium, eat a banana immediately, it relieves very quickly and keeps you from experiencing it again for at least 24 hours.
Edit: I went back to the Quest Synergistic Magnesium 150mg with Vitamin B6 and found my health! No cramps, no side effects, they are also smaller and easier to swallow, and the box contains 30 more pills, plus they come in glass jars with a metal lid, like Solgar, instead of plastic jars, if you want them for cramps, get the Quest ones.
Edit - Μετά από περισσότερη εμπειρία με το προϊόν, άλλαξα γνώμη.Δε με καλύβει στις κράμπες όσο περίμενα,που ήταν και ο κύριος λόγος που το αγόρασα. Η πρώτη που δοκίμασα, μου έκανε έκρηξη ενέργειας για λίγο και μετά χαλάρωση που σε βοηθάει να κοιμηθείς το βράδυ. Έπαιρνα μία κάθε βράδυ, είτε μετά το φαί είτε μισή με μία ώρα πριν κοιμηθώ. Όσο περνούσαν οι μέρες, έπεφτε η απόδοση τους, σα να τις συνήθιζε ο οργανισμός και δε μου κάναν και πολλά μετά από μια βδομάδα χρήσης. Τις έκανα διάλλειμα 2-3 μέρες, τίποτα, πάλι τα ίδια. Αν με κάλυψαν στις κράμπες που παθαίνω στον ύπνο ή όταν ξυπνάω, με κάλυψε λίγο ή εν μέρη. Ξαναγυρίζω στις Quest Synergistic Magnesium 150mg with Vitamin B6, που ένα χάπι μόνο, με κάλυβε και δεν είχα ούτε για πλάκα κράμπες, για μια ή και 2 μέρες.Ίσως, έχει να κάνει με τον οργανισμό του κάθε ανθρώπου, γιατί αλήθεια είναι,μοιάζουν ακόμα πιο ποιοτικές από τις Quest. Οπότε μη δέσετε κορδόνι τη δική μου εμπειρία. I have been buying it for years. It helps with relaxation, muscle recovery from exercise, and sensitive bowel/constipation issues because it is a muscle relaxant. • Generally, the recommended daily dosage is 250-450mg. The packaging specifies 2 tablets per day, which is 400mg. Those who take 2 tablets should have eaten because magnesium citrate can cause gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea when taken in doses of 350mg and above.
• For deeper and consequently better sleep, it is recommended to combine it with melatonin 2-3 hours before sleep.
