In exactly twelve minutes, it would close for the holidays, but a crowd of people kept pouring in through the door, hoping to buy one last gift for a special person or to admire the huge dollhouse in the window and marvel at all the happy toys neatly arranged on the shelves. But someone wasn’t doing any of these things. Oliver. Oliver was the son of the store owners and had spent his day helping his dad and mom – gathering, carrying, and generally working. At this moment, however, he was quickly crouching under the counter where he had been wrapping packages until then. He wrapped his scarf around his neck, skillfully maneuvered through the crowd, and went out onto the bustling shopping street. He had a VERY important mission.
