I have been using it for about a week, the fabric is very soft, it didn't get damaged in the first wash. It has a double zipper, as well as buttons in the diaper area for easy access to changing diapers. Also, it has double fabric on the feet to cover the child's foot like a sock if I want to. Overall, the texture seems a bit thinner than another winter bag I have, but the instructions say it is suitable for temperatures of 16-20 degrees (2.5 Tog). For extra safety, I put a blanket on top, but the child is still at a good temperature even if I happen to uncover them during the night.
