Sometimes you may know exactly how you want to change the world. But if you don’t know yet, that’s okay. You can start by looking around you with kindness and reflecting on the choices you make. Changing the world sounds like a great thing, but you are already changing it just by living in it. Every day you make choices that affect the world around you. Sometimes these choices are very important, sometimes not so much. Often, you may not even realize that you are making a choice.
A look full of kindness means that …you pay attention to the world around you. …you try to understand if someone needs help. …you think about ways you can improve things, whether it’s something small that you can fix immediately or something that will require more time and support to organize.
And then what? One thing is certain. If you start paying attention to the world around you, you will begin to find new ways to help your fellow human beings. If you notice many small things, you will be able to understand bigger changes that might help your community. If many people struggle to climb steep stairs, could you organize a campaign to build a ramp nearby?
