The air drawn by the hood is either expelled through a duct or recirculated within the hood. For operation with air extraction, a duct needs to be installed to expel the air outside the kitchen.

It accepts metal filters, which can be removed and washed in the dishwasher or by hand, and do not need frequent replacement. Additionally, it accepts carbon filters, which are necessary for operation with air recirculation. The carbon filters are not washable and it is recommended to replace them every 4-6 months.
