I don't know about its makeup removal or facial cleansing properties, as it is a toner and not intended for that purpose, but as a toner, it is unbeatable. It does what it promises, its scent is gentle and very nice, and it hydrates my skin just right. It prepares my face for the next products that will be applied... I have no words, it's amazing! Personally, I spray it on my hand and apply it with gentle motions, so I don't waste product if I put it on a pad or cotton. That's how it works best for me personally.
