The story follows Rinka Urushiba, a high school student who wakes up to discover she has gained extrasensory powers. She then uses these powers against other ESPers who are causing chaos in Tokyo. Tokyo ESP is a fast-paced sci-fi action series featuring many well-designed and choreographed action scenes, mixed with surreal comedic moments. Fully utilizing its youthful cast and themes of ESP and the supernatural, ESP is a very optimistic and modern comic that will appeal to an audience much broader than the anime/manga community.
