I bought it for running so I wouldn't get cold when it's windy or when I sweat.
It is indeed windproof and blocks the air.
It is also very lightweight and not bothersome.
It doesn't keep you warm because it is sleeveless.
I haven't had the chance to try it in the rain to see if it is also waterproof
