Lucienne Jourdan, a sixty-seven-year-old woman with a Catholic education, isolates her mysterious interlocutor and recounts her recent revolution.

After replacing one of her heart valves with a pig valve, she decided, as if the pig had made the decision instead of her, to leave everything behind – her husband, her home, her boring bourgeois life – and to drive to Paris, where she met people and experienced sensations she never believed she was still capable of feeling.

All she needed to achieve this were a driver’s license, a car, and some money… And a weapon.
