We had the same problem with the designs peeling off. We threw them away as they are not safe for the child. Surely, the temperature of the food or the microwave oven is to blame, but it is supposed to be suitable. For my second child, I will buy a different brand.

We bought bowls, cups, 4 spoons, and this little plate from the same series. They are very beautiful and I consider their bamboo fiber material to be very good for a baby. As if by magic, the cup has not been altered in the slightest, even though it has been used more than anything else and goes in the dishwasher every day for a year. Therefore, I conclude that the temperature of the food, which I did not take care to cool before putting it in the plate/bowl, and the friction with our hands on the spoons, probably caused the issues with the others.
