Although it is a more expensive supplement than others, I wouldn't change it.
I will take either the 2200 iu or the 4000 iu depending on my needs.

This particular vitamin is not for EVERY DAY, especially for people who have stress/anxiety, I took it for two days and it overwhelmed me. It needs to be taken once a week, it really boosts the immune system, it's just a very STRONG product.

They raised the price of D from 11 to 16 after 2 months of use, and from 16 to 26 after another two.
With one capsule per day, every day..
Therefore, I will say that it is excellent, as expected for the Solgar brand.
It is obvious that it is for systematic, consistent, and long-term use in order to see an increase in prices.
Of course, if this increase in price also means something in terms of health, it is another big issue...

Reliable product

I had blood tests on February 8th and I was found to have a slight deficiency of 22.10 ng/mL. I started taking one capsule every day with a meal. On March 13th, I went for some blood tests at the same laboratory and added this specific test to see if this supplement works positively for me. The results were better than expected. The value had increased to 28.70 ng/mL. Personally, in 33 days, I would be satisfied even with one or two units higher. Practically, it increases by an average of about 1.3 ng/mL every week. Of course, this applies to my own body. I am providing the results of the tests as they can be very useful.
