Description & Specifications

In the vase with the fake roses, there is a small box. Inside the box, I have kept a heart made of coral. My wife used to wear it. I want you to take it. I want you to wear it... so that you remember me...

Dimitris is a police officer living in Santorini, trying to forget his lost love and rebuild his life. Alexis is peculiar, rebellious, maladjusted, undisciplined. Until life forces her to confront the truth head-on.

Melina, who grew up without a mother, is tender and innocent, dreaming of true love. Odysseus, shaped with the fabric of a hero, fights for his ideals, desperately searching for his Ithaca...

Four heroes tangled in spider webs woven from lies, fighting to escape, searching for the red coral of their hearts. Can love take root, perhaps, without the truth?

Read an excerpt

We are born and take the path of life still unlearned. We rely on others, learn from others, imitate them. Our parents first of all, our friends, society. And we are innocent, unlearned, and absorb everything around us, embracing the words of others. The words of others… We consider them all to be true. On these words, their words and their logic, we rely to build our own worldview, to construct our personality. And if we change a little along the way, it is because we try to balance between so many obligations and our own dreams, our own desires, those that our subconscious lulls. And we create an "I", our very self, and we too begin life as parents, as friends, as people who fight for the good of society.

But is it really like that? Have they told us the truth? And what if we discover at some point that they lied to us? Then what happens? How much is our emotional balance disturbed, what do we experience when the whole world collapses beneath our feet, when we feel unprotected in a rebellious wind, when everything around us is a lie? The truth is so difficult in this life. The truth hurts. That is why they hide it from us. For our own good. So we won’t be upset. Because it suits them that way. Parents, relatives, friends, acquaintances, employers, politicians, the media, society itself, everyone has their own reason to hide a truth.
