Oregano has been known since ancient times, whose name in Greek means "joy of the mountains." It is widely spread in the wild in Europe. Oregano can be used as a seasoning almost everywhere but mainly in tomato sauces.

Features

  • Sowing: Sow from March to June in pots or planters, placing them in a sunny position after compressing the soil well.
  • Thinning: At the 6-7 leaf stage, remove the weaker plants, keeping only the stronger ones, leaving only a few plants per pot.
  • Harvesting: Harvest the leaves from July to September. You can grow oregano directly in your garden, choosing a sunny spot.
