The Optex VXS-RDAM-X5-W wireless motion sensor combines infrared and microwave detection for outdoor use. SMDA Logic technology analyzes motion patterns in combination with environmental conditions to help reduce false alarms.

Detection can be adjusted across three levels, while the coverage distance has five adjustment levels. Sensitivity is set using DIP switches, and the sensor is installed at a height of 0.8–1.2 m. A transceiver, which is not included, is required for wireless connection to an alarm control panel.
