Two young and particularly popular French creators, Martin Quenehen and Bastian Vives, present us with a new version of Corto Maltese, of whom they have always been passionate fans. Their graphic representation evokes narrative styles, silences, and atmospheres reminiscent of Hugo Pratt, in a story that marks a new path for the sailor who carved the line of fate into his hand.
This issue includes an interview with Patrizia Zanotti. Zanotti began collaborating with Hugo Pratt at the age of 17, in 1979. Initially, she worked on coloring the comics of the great creator and later with the graphic design of his books. She continued by curating several international exhibitions and today she is the head of CONG SA, which manages the work of Hugo Pratt globally.
