It fit the circuit board and the new battery exactly, and its buttons work perfectly. However, it did not have the BMW logo and it is not possible to stick the logo from the original shell onto this one because it is too thick and has two "legs." Although opening the shell is easy and you can thus change the special rechargeable battery, which is a hassle for the owner (its terminals are soldered), you should be careful because it is not unlikely that the shell may open if it is hit or dropped.
