It works just fine, they also provide software with a CD but there is also the totalmedia 3.5 version available online. On modern computers, you need to disable a security feature (memory integrity), on older PCs it works directly. Drivers can be found on the Internet by searching for the product. It comes with an antenna, but indoors it didn't pick up anything at all, outdoors it was okay. With an adapter, a regular antenna can also be connected.
It also works with Windows Media Center, if someone wants to use it with that.
It doesn't have many uses anymore, but if someone wants to watch TV on the computer without using the internet, it's an okay solution if combined with a decent antenna
Δουλεύει μια χαρά, δίνουν και λογισμικό με cd αλλά υπάρχει στο ίντερνετ και η έκδοση totalmedia 3.5. Σε μοντερνους υπολογιστές χρειάζεται να απενεργοποιησετε μια λειτουργία ασφαλείας (memory integrity), σε πιο παλιά pc παίζει κατευθείαν. Drivers βρίσκονται στο Internet αναζητώντας το προϊόν. Έχει κεραία μαζί αλλά σε εσωτερικούς χώρους δεν έπιανε καθόλου, σε εξωτερικούς ηταν οκ. Με ανταπτορα μπορει να συνδεθεί και κανονική κεραια.
Δουλεύει και με το Windows Media Center, αν κάποιος θέλει να το χρησιμοποιήσει με αυτό.
Δεν έχει πολλές χρήσεις πλέον, αλλά αν κάποιος θέλει να βλέπει τηλεόραση στον υπολογιστή χωρίς να χρησιμοποιεί το ίντερνετ, είναι μια οκ λύση αν συνδυαστεί με μια κεραία της προκοπής
Unfortunately, it turned out to be completely useless as the driver programs on the CD, website, and Windows Update are not compatible with Windows kernel isolation, and it is ridiculous to require disabling a security feature for the product to work.
Even so, I disabled kernel isolation and followed the instructions, which show in the diagram at the top to connect it first and then install the programs, while below they say the opposite (if they can't even create a proper instruction manual, what can one expect from the driver programs).
After a lot of confusion and MANY restarts, I managed to get the program installed by Windows through Windows Update to work (no mention of the other two) but the fact that I had to leave kernel isolation disabled made me decide not to use it on my main computer after all.
Otherwise, it worked fine on a netbook with Garuda, but what can I do with that.
Meanwhile, the included ArcSoft program is a disaster as it constantly crashes and the menus are user-unfriendly. However, there are alternatives (some even mentioned in another review), so it's not a big deal.
Maybe it's Microsoft's fault, maybe it's TerraTec's fault, maybe it's the fool who bought this product. What a shame...
Δυστυχώς αποδείχτηκε εντελώς άχρηστο καθώς τα προγράμματα οδήγησης στο CD, στην ιστοσελίδα αλλά και στο Windows Update δεν είναι συμβατά με την απομόνωση πυρήνα των Windows και είναι γελοίο να απαιτείται η απενεργοποίηση μιας λειτουργίας ασφαλείας για να λειτουργήσει το προϊόν.
Έστω και έτσι, απενεργοποίησα την απομόνωση πυρήνα και ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες οι οποίες δείχνουν στο διάγραμμα στο πάνω μέρος να το συνδέσεις πρώτα και μετά να εγκαταστήσεις τα προγράμματα, ενώ από κάτω λένε το αντίθετο (αν δεν μπορούν ούτε ένα βιβλίο οδηγιών να φτιάξουν σωστά τι να περιμένει κανείς από τα προγράμματα οδήγησης).
Μετά από πολύ μπέρδεμα και ΠΟΛΛΕΣ επανεκκινήσεις κατάφερα να κάνω το πρόγραμμα που εγκατέστησαν τα Windows μέσω του Windows update να δουλέψει (για άλλα δύο ούτε λόγος) αλλά το γεγονός ότι έπρεπε να αφήσω κλειστή την απομόνωση πυρήνα με έκανε να αποφασίσω να μην το χρησιμοποιήσω τελικά στον κύριο υπολογιστή μου.
Κατά τ' άλλα σε ένα netbook με garuda έπαιξε κανονικά αλλά τι να το κάνω.
Εν τω μεταξύ το πρόγραμμα της ArcSoft που περιλαμβάνεται είναι για κλάματα καθώς κολλάει συνέχεια και τα μενού είναι δύσχρηστα. Υπάρχουν όμως εναλλακτικές (κάποιες μάλιστα αναφέρθηκαν σε άλλη κριτική) οπότε μικρό το κακό.
Ίσως φταίει η Micro$oft, ίσως φταίει η TerraTec, ίσως φταίει το κορόιδο που αγόρασε αυτό το προϊόν. Κρίμα...
Excellent tuner, it simply works correctly only with its own driver [prefer the one available on the Terratec website] and not with the one provided by Windows Update [regarding Windows 11].
Also included is Arcsoft TV 5 with its serial in the CD folder.

Works great, very good card. I downloaded the Total media 3.5 program and drivers for Windows 10 from the Terrarec website for the CINERGY Mini stick HD. It has 49 channels and radio. I also installed a different antenna.

The device was installed properly. On the accompanying CD, there is an old Arcsoft program that requires a username and password to be installed. However, these are nowhere to be found. I tried with 2 other programs without success. I tried it on a laptop with Win 10 and on a desktop with Win 7. On the 10, it didn't even recognize it. I probably wasted my 20 euros, just like I have wasted 3 other PCTV devices. I could have bought a 32-inch TV with this money, and still haven't been able to watch TV on my PC.

Προσπαθησα με 2 αλλα προγραμματα χωρις επιτυχια. Το εβαλα στο laptop με Win 10 και στο desktop με Win 7. Στα 10 δεν το ειδε καν. Μαλλον πεταξα το 20αρικο οπως εχω πεταξει και αλλες 3 συσκευες PCTV. Θα ειχα παρει μια 32αρα μ αυτα τα λεφτα, και τελικα τηλεοραση στο pc δεν εχω δει ακομα.
Small, convenient, good image, I don't give it five stars because the -usb- connector that connects it to the computer is, in my opinion, prone to break, especially if it's not permanently installed.

Unfortunately, it does not work on Windows 10 despite the fact that the company's website provides some drivers for Windows 10. I spent a whole day trying without any result. Then I tried it on an old computer with Windows 7 and it worked, but the voice lags behind the speaker, for example, in a news bulletin. Δυστυχώς σε win 10 δεν λειτουργεί παρο οτι το σαιτ της εταιρείας δίνει καποιους driver για τα δεκάρια, αλλά τίποτα, έφαγα μια ήμερα ολόκληρη χωρίς αποτέλεσμα, μετα δοκίμασα σε έναν παλιο υπολογιστή που είχα με εφταρια έπαιξε αλλά σέρνετε η φωνη δεν συμβαδίζει με τον ομιλητή πχ σε ένα δελτίο ειδήσεων, και το τηλεκοντρόλ που εχει πρέπει να το έχεις πολύ κοντά, οκ δεν πειραζει πετάξαμε 25€ αυτά έχουν τα πείραματα.
Excellent product. Sturdy construction. In areas with good signal, it downloads all channels with the small telescopic antenna that accompanies it. For connection with an external antenna, we need to purchase an adapter from coaxial (IEC) to micro coaxial (MCX).
Εξαιρετικό προϊόν. Στιβαρή κατασκευή. Σε περιοχές με καλό σήμα κατεβάζει όλα τα κανάλια με την μικρή τηλεσκοπική κεραία που το συνοδεύει. Για σύνδεση με εξωτερική κεραία πρέπει να προμηθευτούμε έναν αντάπτορα από coaxial (IEC) σε micro coaxial (MCX).
I couldn't make it work on Windows because the driver doesn't have a digital signature. However, it worked perfectly fine on Linux. The antenna that it comes with doesn't catch anything, luckily I had another one and everything is good. It lost 1 star due to the driver and antenna

Well guys, for 25 euros it's decent, for the 10 euros I got it for, it's really perfect.
The only thing that might concern you is the mcx connector, which requires an adapter and therefore makes it fragile. Also, since it is very small, it requires caution, especially with a heavy coaxial cable, as it can break from both sides. It goes without saying that all these cards require a good signal from a central antenna or alternatively, an internally amplified one near a window.
With a good free third-party program like dvbviewer or smartdvb, it performs well, but it may pixelate a bit after a few hours (especially on AMD APUs), where a restart of the application or reconnecting fixes it. With the provided program totalmedia, don't even bother. I recommend smartdvb, lightweight with all the features like timeshift, pause, record, etc.
***It works perfectly on all Windows versions, including Windows 10 and 11, but make sure to download the correct drivers for Windows 10, as there are none available for Windows 11 and do not use Windows Update. FROM HERE --->>> https://www.terratec.de/details.php?artnr=145259&lang=en
*IMPORTANT* If you do a direct installation, uninstall it from the device manager and then install the drivers. You must accept the installation of the audio hardware and restart. In the device manager, it should say >>>MONO mini stick HD, if it mentions something else, it won't work, so change the port and if it still doesn't recognize it correctly, reinstall it. It may not work properly on a non-powered hub where you have other devices, I think it prefers USB 2 and directly connected to the PC. Also, because I have both Intel and AMD APUs 3200g/3400g, the card seems to work better on Intel with a dedicated GPU.
***Also, for AMD users with third-party programs, disable hardware acceleration/decoder wherever you see it in the settings of the respective application or the LAV decoder.
In the photo, you can see it compared to other cards and I played a movie on it because I have already replaced at least 2 adapters that easily break. Overall, if you are still looking for cards to buy, only go for Avermedia.
Λοιπόν παιδιά, για 25 ευρώ καλούτσικη, για 10 ευρώ που την είχα πάρει πραγματικά τέλεια.
Το μόνο που μπορεί να προβληματίσει είναι η υποδοχή mcx που απαιτεί αντάπτορα και εκ των πραγμάτων την καθιστά εύθραυστη και με το γεγονός πως είναι πάρα πολύ μικρή θέλει προσοχή ειδικά με βαρύ καλώδιο κεντρικής κεραίας γιατί θα διαλυθεί κι από τις δύο μεριές. Εννοείται πως όλες αυτές οι κάρτες θέλουν καλό σήμα από κεντρική κεραία ή δευτερευόντως εσωτερική αυτοενισχυόμενη κοντά σε παράθυρο.
Με ένα καλό δωρεάν τρίτο πρόγραμμα πχ dvbviewer, smartdvb αποδίδει καλά μα μπορεί να πιξελιάσει λίγο μετά από κάποιες ώρες (κυρίως σε amd apu), όπου με ένα restart της εφαρμογς ή επανασύνδεση στρώνει. Με τo παρεχόμενο πρόγραμμα totalmediia, μην ασχοληθείτε καν. Προτείνω smartdvb πανάλαφρο με όλα τα καλούδια timeshift pause record κλπ

* ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ* Αν γίνει απευθείας εγκατάσταση κάντε απεγκατάσταση από device manager και μετά περάστε drivers. Πρέπει να αποδεχτείτε την εγκατάσταση υλικου ήχου και να γίνει επανεκίνηση. Στη διαχείριση πρέπει να γράφει >>>MONO mini stick hd αν αναφέρει κάτι άλλο δεν θα δουλέψει, οπότε αλλάξτε θύρα κι αν δεν το δει σωστά πάλι επανεγκατάσταση. Σε μη ηλεκτροδοτούμενο hub που έχετε κι άλλες συσκευές μπορεί να μη δουλέψει σωστά, νομίζω πως προτιμάει καλύτερα τις usb 2 κι απευθείας στο pc. Επίσης επειδή έχω και intel & amd apu 3200g/3400g η κάρτα δείχνει να δουλεύει καλύτερα σε intel με ανεξάρτητη gpu.
***Επίσης για κατόχους amd με τρίτα προγράμματα απενεργοποιήστε όπου δείτε το hardware accelaration/decoder στα settings της εκάστοτε εφαρμογής ή του lav decoder
στη φωτό τη βλέπετε συγκριτικά με άλλες και της έβαλα ταινία γιατί έχω αλλάξει τουλάχιστον 2 ανταπτοράκια που χαλάνε και λασκάρουν πανεύκολα. Γενικά πάντως αν ακόμα ψάχνετε κάρτες να αγοράζετε μόνο της avermedia.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be completely useless as the driver programs on the CD, website, and Windows Update are not compatible with Windows kernel isolation, and it is ridiculous to require disabling a security feature for the product to work.
Even so, I disabled kernel isolation and followed the instructions, which show in the diagram at the top to connect it first and then install the programs, while below they say the opposite (if they can't even create a proper instruction manual, what can one expect from the driver programs).
After a lot of confusion and MANY restarts, I managed to get the program installed by Windows through Windows Update to work (no mention of the other two) but the fact that I had to leave kernel isolation disabled made me decide not to use it on my main computer after all.
Otherwise, it worked fine on a netbook with Garuda, but what can I do with that.
Meanwhile, the included ArcSoft program is a disaster as it constantly crashes and the menus are user-unfriendly. However, there are alternatives (some even mentioned in another review), so it's not a big deal.
Maybe it's Microsoft's fault, maybe it's TerraTec's fault, maybe it's the fool who bought this product. What a shame...
Δυστυχώς αποδείχτηκε εντελώς άχρηστο καθώς τα προγράμματα οδήγησης στο CD, στην ιστοσελίδα αλλά και στο Windows Update δεν είναι συμβατά με την απομόνωση πυρήνα των Windows και είναι γελοίο να απαιτείται η απενεργοποίηση μιας λειτουργίας ασφαλείας για να λειτουργήσει το προϊόν.
Έστω και έτσι, απενεργοποίησα την απομόνωση πυρήνα και ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες οι οποίες δείχνουν στο διάγραμμα στο πάνω μέρος να το συνδέσεις πρώτα και μετά να εγκαταστήσεις τα προγράμματα, ενώ από κάτω λένε το αντίθετο (αν δεν μπορούν ούτε ένα βιβλίο οδηγιών να φτιάξουν σωστά τι να περιμένει κανείς από τα προγράμματα οδήγησης).
Μετά από πολύ μπέρδεμα και ΠΟΛΛΕΣ επανεκκινήσεις κατάφερα να κάνω το πρόγραμμα που εγκατέστησαν τα Windows μέσω του Windows update να δουλέψει (για άλλα δύο ούτε λόγος) αλλά το γεγονός ότι έπρεπε να αφήσω κλειστή την απομόνωση πυρήνα με έκανε να αποφασίσω να μην το χρησιμοποιήσω τελικά στον κύριο υπολογιστή μου.
Κατά τ' άλλα σε ένα netbook με garuda έπαιξε κανονικά αλλά τι να το κάνω.
Εν τω μεταξύ το πρόγραμμα της ArcSoft που περιλαμβάνεται είναι για κλάματα καθώς κολλάει συνέχεια και τα μενού είναι δύσχρηστα. Υπάρχουν όμως εναλλακτικές (κάποιες μάλιστα αναφέρθηκαν σε άλλη κριτική) οπότε μικρό το κακό.
Ίσως φταίει η Micro$oft, ίσως φταίει η TerraTec, ίσως φταίει το κορόιδο που αγόρασε αυτό το προϊόν. Κρίμα...
Excellent tuner, it simply works correctly only with its own driver [prefer the one available on the Terratec website] and not with the one provided by Windows Update [regarding Windows 11].
Also included is Arcsoft TV 5 with its serial in the CD folder.

Works great, very good card. I downloaded the Total media 3.5 program and drivers for Windows 10 from the Terrarec website for the CINERGY Mini stick HD. It has 49 channels and radio. I also installed a different antenna.

The device was installed properly. On the accompanying CD, there is an old Arcsoft program that requires a username and password to be installed. However, these are nowhere to be found. I tried with 2 other programs without success. I tried it on a laptop with Win 10 and on a desktop with Win 7. On the 10, it didn't even recognize it. I probably wasted my 20 euros, just like I have wasted 3 other PCTV devices. I could have bought a 32-inch TV with this money, and still haven't been able to watch TV on my PC.

Προσπαθησα με 2 αλλα προγραμματα χωρις επιτυχια. Το εβαλα στο laptop με Win 10 και στο desktop με Win 7. Στα 10 δεν το ειδε καν. Μαλλον πεταξα το 20αρικο οπως εχω πεταξει και αλλες 3 συσκευες PCTV. Θα ειχα παρει μια 32αρα μ αυτα τα λεφτα, και τελικα τηλεοραση στο pc δεν εχω δει ακομα.
Small, convenient, good image, I don't give it five stars because the -usb- connector that connects it to the computer is, in my opinion, prone to break, especially if it's not permanently installed.

Unfortunately, it does not work on Windows 10 despite the fact that the company's website provides some drivers for Windows 10. I spent a whole day trying without any result. Then I tried it on an old computer with Windows 7 and it worked, but the voice lags behind the speaker, for example, in a news bulletin. Δυστυχώς σε win 10 δεν λειτουργεί παρο οτι το σαιτ της εταιρείας δίνει καποιους driver για τα δεκάρια, αλλά τίποτα, έφαγα μια ήμερα ολόκληρη χωρίς αποτέλεσμα, μετα δοκίμασα σε έναν παλιο υπολογιστή που είχα με εφταρια έπαιξε αλλά σέρνετε η φωνη δεν συμβαδίζει με τον ομιλητή πχ σε ένα δελτίο ειδήσεων, και το τηλεκοντρόλ που εχει πρέπει να το έχεις πολύ κοντά, οκ δεν πειραζει πετάξαμε 25€ αυτά έχουν τα πείραματα.
Excellent product. Sturdy construction. In areas with good signal, it downloads all channels with the small telescopic antenna that accompanies it. For connection with an external antenna, we need to purchase an adapter from coaxial (IEC) to micro coaxial (MCX).
Εξαιρετικό προϊόν. Στιβαρή κατασκευή. Σε περιοχές με καλό σήμα κατεβάζει όλα τα κανάλια με την μικρή τηλεσκοπική κεραία που το συνοδεύει. Για σύνδεση με εξωτερική κεραία πρέπει να προμηθευτούμε έναν αντάπτορα από coaxial (IEC) σε micro coaxial (MCX).
I couldn't make it work on Windows because the driver doesn't have a digital signature. However, it worked perfectly fine on Linux. The antenna that it comes with doesn't catch anything, luckily I had another one and everything is good. It lost 1 star due to the driver and antenna

Well guys, for 25 euros it's decent, for the 10 euros I got it for, it's really perfect.
The only thing that might concern you is the mcx connector, which requires an adapter and therefore makes it fragile. Also, since it is very small, it requires caution, especially with a heavy coaxial cable, as it can break from both sides. It goes without saying that all these cards require a good signal from a central antenna or alternatively, an internally amplified one near a window.
With a good free third-party program like dvbviewer or smartdvb, it performs well, but it may pixelate a bit after a few hours (especially on AMD APUs), where a restart of the application or reconnecting fixes it. With the provided program totalmedia, don't even bother. I recommend smartdvb, lightweight with all the features like timeshift, pause, record, etc.

*IMPORTANT* If you do a direct installation, uninstall it from the device manager and then install the drivers. You must accept the installation of the audio hardware and restart. In the device manager, it should say >>>MONO mini stick HD, if it mentions something else, it won't work, so change the port and if it still doesn't recognize it correctly, reinstall it. It may not work properly on a non-powered hub where you have other devices, I think it prefers USB 2 and directly connected to the PC. Also, because I have both Intel and AMD APUs 3200g/3400g, the card seems to work better on Intel with a dedicated GPU.
***Also, for AMD users with third-party programs, disable hardware acceleration/decoder wherever you see it in the settings of the respective application or the LAV decoder.
In the photo, you can see it compared to other cards and I played a movie on it because I have already replaced at least 2 adapters that easily break. Overall, if you are still looking for cards to buy, only go for Avermedia.
Λοιπόν παιδιά, για 25 ευρώ καλούτσικη, για 10 ευρώ που την είχα πάρει πραγματικά τέλεια.
Το μόνο που μπορεί να προβληματίσει είναι η υποδοχή mcx που απαιτεί αντάπτορα και εκ των πραγμάτων την καθιστά εύθραυστη και με το γεγονός πως είναι πάρα πολύ μικρή θέλει προσοχή ειδικά με βαρύ καλώδιο κεντρικής κεραίας γιατί θα διαλυθεί κι από τις δύο μεριές. Εννοείται πως όλες αυτές οι κάρτες θέλουν καλό σήμα από κεντρική κεραία ή δευτερευόντως εσωτερική αυτοενισχυόμενη κοντά σε παράθυρο.
Με ένα καλό δωρεάν τρίτο πρόγραμμα πχ dvbviewer, smartdvb αποδίδει καλά μα μπορεί να πιξελιάσει λίγο μετά από κάποιες ώρες (κυρίως σε amd apu), όπου με ένα restart της εφαρμογς ή επανασύνδεση στρώνει. Με τo παρεχόμενο πρόγραμμα totalmediia, μην ασχοληθείτε καν. Προτείνω smartdvb πανάλαφρο με όλα τα καλούδια timeshift pause record κλπ

* ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ* Αν γίνει απευθείας εγκατάσταση κάντε απεγκατάσταση από device manager και μετά περάστε drivers. Πρέπει να αποδεχτείτε την εγκατάσταση υλικου ήχου και να γίνει επανεκίνηση. Στη διαχείριση πρέπει να γράφει >>>MONO mini stick hd αν αναφέρει κάτι άλλο δεν θα δουλέψει, οπότε αλλάξτε θύρα κι αν δεν το δει σωστά πάλι επανεγκατάσταση. Σε μη ηλεκτροδοτούμενο hub που έχετε κι άλλες συσκευές μπορεί να μη δουλέψει σωστά, νομίζω πως προτιμάει καλύτερα τις usb 2 κι απευθείας στο pc. Επίσης επειδή έχω και intel & amd apu 3200g/3400g η κάρτα δείχνει να δουλεύει καλύτερα σε intel με ανεξάρτητη gpu.
***Επίσης για κατόχους amd με τρίτα προγράμματα απενεργοποιήστε όπου δείτε το hardware accelaration/decoder στα settings της εκάστοτε εφαρμογής ή του lav decoder
στη φωτό τη βλέπετε συγκριτικά με άλλες και της έβαλα ταινία γιατί έχω αλλάξει τουλάχιστον 2 ανταπτοράκια που χαλάνε και λασκάρουν πανεύκολα. Γενικά πάντως αν ακόμα ψάχνετε κάρτες να αγοράζετε μόνο της avermedia.

It works just fine, they also provide software with a CD but there is also the totalmedia 3.5 version available online. On modern computers, you need to disable a security feature (memory integrity), on older PCs it works directly. Drivers can be found on the Internet by searching for the product. It comes with an antenna, but indoors it didn't pick up anything at all, outdoors it was okay. With an adapter, a regular antenna can also be connected.
It also works with Windows Media Center, if someone wants to use it with that.
It doesn't have many uses anymore, but if someone wants to watch TV on the computer without using the internet, it's an okay solution if combined with a decent antenna
Δουλεύει μια χαρά, δίνουν και λογισμικό με cd αλλά υπάρχει στο ίντερνετ και η έκδοση totalmedia 3.5. Σε μοντερνους υπολογιστές χρειάζεται να απενεργοποιησετε μια λειτουργία ασφαλείας (memory integrity), σε πιο παλιά pc παίζει κατευθείαν. Drivers βρίσκονται στο Internet αναζητώντας το προϊόν. Έχει κεραία μαζί αλλά σε εσωτερικούς χώρους δεν έπιανε καθόλου, σε εξωτερικούς ηταν οκ. Με ανταπτορα μπορει να συνδεθεί και κανονική κεραια.
Δουλεύει και με το Windows Media Center, αν κάποιος θέλει να το χρησιμοποιήσει με αυτό.
