The Haitronic HIFI DAC sound card functions as an expansion board for the Raspberry Pi Model B+ and uses TI’s PCM5122 DAC with an I2S interface. It can be used with audio playback systems such as Volumio and XBMC to create a high-fidelity network audio player. It features two outputs for connecting to amplifiers and other devices, as well as an infrared receiver that uses GPIO26.

The LED indicators show the operating status: the red LED indicates that the DAC is powered, and the green LED indicates decoding activity.
