Every 6 months, as if it were a subscription, I would buy a new arm because something would always break on the previous one. I don't know why, but they seem to have an expiration date. I haven't had this one for very long, but it seems very sturdy and looks like it will last over time. I will return to the review if anything changes. Until then, it gets 5 stars because the build quality is very good.

Reading the reviews, I decided to get the arm for my new microphone. The first one that arrived creaked like a door from the 60s that hadn’t been oiled. After requesting a replacement, the second one arrived (from a different store, even) and as soon as I opened the box, instead of being white, it had a rust color. Looking at the springs, both were full of rust so I didn’t even bother to continue unpacking. It seems that RODE no longer cares about the quality of its products (both even had the “Quality Assurance Stamp”). I don’t know if I was extremely unlucky, but for 100+ euros it’s not worth risking getting a defective product and going through the return process. IF it worked as it should, then maybe it would be worth the money.

EDIT: I decided to give RODE a third chance and got it from a third different store. It came AGAIN rusted inside.

I have gone through quite a few arms, it is both jewelry and quality and sturdy and can hold heavy microphones and packaging jewelry and materials 10/10. The price at 105 is just fine!!!

The only negative is the clips of the cable. I just wrote it to have a downside, I don't know

Basically, it's my first one so I can't compare it to any other. Anyway, I put on a shock mount and the Rode pop filter (set), which is quite heavy along with the NT1, and it holds it very comfortably.
