Description

Screen

The Pocketbook InkPad Lite features a 9.7" E-Ink Carta HD screen with a resolution of 1200x825 and 150 PPI. It has front lighting with 24 white LED lights for reading at night or in low-light conditions. You can interact with the touchscreen using your fingers to click on navigation elements or turn the pages of an e-book or PDF files. This device is also compatible with a stylus (not included), which is useful for highlighting or taking notes.

SMARTlight

Unlike traditional front lighting, SMARTlight technology allows users to adjust not only the screen brightness but also the color temperature. This way, users can read with maximum comfort in any light and choose warm or cool tones of front lighting according to their mood and preferences. The automatic function will change the settings depending on the time of day. Additionally, readers can create their own templates with brightness settings, quickly adjusting the screen to their needs at the right moment.

The best I have ever tried. Bravo to our German friends. As a nook owner and after trying some kindle of friends, I ended up here after some reviews and videos I saw.
Well, finally you will be able to read all these scanned pdf files hastily and with both pages in one pass. It has a function to adjust the page according to the scanning it has undergone. Even the comics you downloaded from the Awesome (remember then..?) you will read them without breaking your nerves and your glasses.
Electronic ink, you read like paper, without light from below frying your eyes, very good resolution as the photos and graphics of the magazines are perfectly visible.
Yes, that's why the screen must be big enough to see the entire page of the magazines and not need to zoom in on each page. It also has a function that trims the empty edges of the pdf pages (and does this automatically on all remaining pages), thus enlarging the essence of the page considerably.
The negative is the texture on the back that you can't stick a ring to hold it with one finger and it requires two hands. I am ready to try super glue...
