The gear turns clockwise, causing the chain to turn from bottom to top and it has to be put upside down to cut. However, it is very difficult to handle this way. I will contact the store to ask them if it is designed like this (which I don't think because it shows it correctly in the photos) or if it needs to be returned...
    I will come back.
