Does it make the TV smart? Yes, as long as the definition most people give is to play Netflix and YouTube. And the sideloading app gives it extra points. But it simply can't do much with these applications because it is underpowered in terms of hardware, with weak wifi, a processor that was midrange in 2015, and 1.5 GB of RAM. I use it quite a bit just for smarttube (try it!), but whenever I've tried to use the browsers, the experience has been tragic, but still better than my (laughable) Samsung smart TV.

Disappointment, I can't see anything. I have a 100 Mbps speed and it only reaches 3.5 Mbps, and it's right next to the router. I haven't tried it with 2.4 or 5

I mainly use it for Netflix, very easy to connect, very nice remote control which is designed so that you don't have to look at it to know exactly where to press, whether to increase or decrease the volume, change channels or stop, very fast channel switching, doesn't freeze, it's one of those purchases you don't regret

Since the day I installed it...no more channels. Only movies and series. I have a 100mbps connection and it doesn't lag at all. You download and install the APKs directly. And Alexa helps too so you don't have to type.

4K movies are not even possible, it will definitely freeze during the movie. Especially anything over 5Gb. 1080 quality is fine. It delays quite a bit from command to command, but overall it does its job fine.

So I tried it to install stbemu and generally iptv stuff. It's just WORTH it for the money. Note that now I'm ordering a second one and considering a third. Simply perfect!!

Plays everything except for Cosmote TV so far. I have installed Kodi, Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vodafone TV. They all work perfectly, except Cosmote has not yet adapted the application for Fire TV. Since Vodafone did it, logically Cosmote will do it too. However, you can mirror from your mobile to the Firestick. I had a Mi Box, but the Firestick is much faster and responsive. The Downloader app is magical, you can do everything through it. It also plays Ertflix, but through the Silk browser. Logically, a relevant application will be created for Cosmote TV as well

Great purchase. I have added to it:
1. Netflix
2. Amazon prime
3. Vodafone TV
4. Apple TV

All 4 work smoothly and in great quality. It connects with its own remote to my TV, so I have almost abolished my TV remote!
The only downside is that it doesn't have an application for Ertflix yet.
For me, it's worth the money. If Ertflix is added at some point, it will be the best for Greece.

Unfortunately, the app I purchased doesn't work properly, so I had to pay for it just to be able to see what I want, and it still has issues. Be careful not to press anything, as it doesn't have Google Play Store or anything else. It's a fix with specific things, and it requires a whole process to be able to connect to the point where it will drive you crazy, at least during the initial connection. And the two that I put on it, believe me, are too much. It's not worth the money in any case.
