Oil- and water-repellent coatings on the objective lenses and eyepieces make it easier to remove smudges and fingerprints. The binoculars are waterproof to 1 m for 10 minutes, feature fog-resistant construction and have a rubber coating for shock resistance and a secure grip. The diopter adjustment ring locks in place, and the body can be mounted on a tripod.
