Corto Maltese, the eternal dreamer and incurable romantic sailor with the golden earring in his left ear, seeks adventure and escape from reality. He is one of the most classic figures in comics.

His first and finest story, The Ballad of the Salty Sea, returns through the "Newspaper of the Editors" and will be completed in 4 luxurious albums. This work gave birth to the legend of Corto Maltese, the alter ego of his creator, Hugo Pratt, and has been classified among the 100 books of the Century by the Parisian newspaper Le Monde and the French retail chain Fnac.

A few words about the story: During World War I, in the Pacific Ocean, the warlike Rasputin saves Pandora and Cain Grovenor, cousins from a wealthy family.

Very good price, maybe a hardcover version would have been better.
