The famous Tarzan was created in 1912 by the American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs. He is one of the most recognizable heroes of all time. It is the story of a child of British nobility who was shipwrecked on the shores of Africa in 1888. Tarzan was born in September 1889 and after the death of his parents, he was adopted by the female gorilla Kala, who named him "Tarzan" and he grew up with the parents of the Mangani tribe. As he matured, he became the undisputed king of the jungle.
