The Kaissa Stella board game is a competitive game of interpreting images and connecting ideas in the Dixit universe. In each round, players combine a shared random word with images from the cards laid out on the board and choose the images they think the other players will also choose. Shared choices earn points, while choices no one else makes may result in a loss of points.
The 84 Dixit cards can also be used as an expansion for Dixit and the other games in the series.

Users find the game fun and particularly praise its beautiful illustrations and more relaxed, strategic gameplay. They say it’s quick and easy to play, even with children or people who aren’t board-game fans, and works well with smaller groups. However, some may find it complicated at first, and there is also an isolated negative opinion.
At first, I had a small misunderstanding with the game, because when I first saw it, it seemed complicated. It had quite a few rules and it looked like you had to do a lot more compared to classic Dixit, where you just have your cards.
In the end, after I played it, I was amazed! It turned out to be just as fun as classic Dixit, it just has a little "click" more in the gameplay that makes it unique and more strategic, without losing its magic. It definitely deserves a place next to classic Dixit in my collection!
A nice and more relaxed variation of Dixit. The artwork is fantastic, as well as the quality of the contents (the player cards are unexpectedly heavy).
In Stella, there is no pressure for the active player to come up with an imaginative clue like in Dixit... so it is played more casually and is suitable for people who lack imagination or get anxious.
I also believe that it is much easier to play with children and people who are not fans of board games. It also works well with fewer players (3). It is definitely preferable with 5-6 players, but it doesn't require a large group to "shine" like Dixit.
Absolutely wonderful game. I bought it in Greek and understood the rules within a few minutes, even though I didn't really know the language. It's a very fun game and doesn't involve countless rules. Once you understand it (and if you have the comprehension of an 8+ year old child, you will acquire it), the game is very fast-paced and enjoyable for all participants. Additionally, the art style and cards are simply beautiful. A lovely addition to the "vibe" of Dixit.
