Mapei Planiseal 88 is a cementitious waterproofing mortar in powder form, made with carefully graded aggregates and synthetic resins. When mixed with water, it forms a fluid mixture that can be applied with a trowel, brush or spray and adheres to the substrate. It is used to protect basement walls from water and moisture ingress, even under negative pressure of up to 1 atmosphere.
It is also suitable for waterproofing masonry or concrete channels and tanks used for drinking water or rainwater. It meets the requirements of EN 1504-9.
