The AK-959CU heatsink from Akasa is designed for compact HTPC and Mini-ITX cases, offering efficient cooling with small dimensions. The heatsink is only 6.2 centimeters tall, making it ideal for ultra-compact cases.

The cooler features a 92mm fan, which is controlled via PWM technology, with speeds ranging from 600 to 3000 RPM. The noise level reaches a maximum of 30.54 dB(A) and the airflow can reach 96.01 m³/h.

It is made from a multi-fin cooler with copper and aluminum strips, contributing to the efficient cooling of the processor and motherboard. The fan is automatically adjusted by the processor, allowing for low speeds when the load is low for less noise.

Installation is easy with push pins on Intel 775, 1150, 1151, 1155, and 1156 sockets.

    The Intel cooler on my old LGA1151 motherboard was getting quite noisy and no longer cooled properly, causing the computer to freeze. This cooler has four pins, operates very quietly, and cools the processor extremely well. What I particularly like is that it uses the same mounting base as the original Intel cooler and does not require screws or a mounting plate.
