The book is a cold, objective depiction of the actions of ELDYK 74 and mainly the battle of its camp. I believe it is the most comprehensive edition, with abundant sources and it overturns the various myths circulating in other books as well as on the internet. It is history, not fiction, no matter how much we may not like it. Whoever wants novels, better not buy it and read the various websites and YouTube channels that have much more comforting, heroic, but often false narratives. I hope they teach the book at Evelpidon, as it is extremely technocratic, with detailed military information and maps. The most worrying thing is that our omissions that are pointed out, probably have not been learned (e.g. unmaintained equipment, doesn't work when you need it, and the uneducated conscript, despite the heroic genes, won't suddenly become Rambo). The book has glossy paper, the edition is very well-crafted and justifies the cost of 22.5 euros.
