At the beginning of last year, the borrowing of books from the National Library was ordered to be discontinued due to its relocation to its own building. However, in accordance with that order, I returned the four or five books that were rare and hard to find, which were necessary for the processing of the Proverbs collection. This forced me to interrupt the printing of this collection for a long time.

In my dilemma, I found a solution in the kind support that Gregory Maraslis, the generous sponsor of the renowned library, has always provided to my Studies. He was pleased to allow the publication of another book from my Studies series until the continuation of the printing of the Proverbs became possible.

This is the reason for the premature birth of the current collection of popular Greek Traditions. After the printing of its third and final volume, the publication of the Proverbs will continue.
