Purchased 3 years ago, but it still serves me for the use I make (light gaming, work, movies, surfing). It was bought at a time when cards were not at the best prices. It plays games like CS2, PUBG at max settings without problems. Today, judging by the quality I see and if I wanted an AM4 build, I would go straight for the corresponding 7 (with integrated graphics) since the price difference now is negligible

Back in 2021 when graphics cards were extremely expensive, this CPU was the best choice due to its integrated graphics. Of course, to have good VRAM performance you need 16GB RAM or more. Now that I also installed an Asus Radeon 9060XT Dual, I can say that even as a standalone CPU, the Ryzen 5600G runs everything amazingly on ultra graphics. However, to avoid even the slightest bottleneck, one should get a Ryzen 7 (though that's a minor detail).

Quite impressive performance for moderate games without very heavy graphics. It's better to look for benchmarks on YouTube to see in detail how it performs.

The CPU is a beast, it can handle many tabs open and doesn't even struggle, a very good one for the price, a CPU with 6 cores. I wouldn't recommend it only for heavy editing. Now, as for the integrated graphics for games, I don't recommend them, they are very good for browsing and simple tasks and maybe for some light gaming. Anyway, if you have a low budget and don't do any demanding work, I highly recommend it!!! Especially now with the water cooling I installed, it cools easily at very good temperatures and generally this processor is considered a 'cool' processor, it runs many programs open without lag and in editing, where I tested it, the lighter programs (capcut, shotcut) run very well, now with some other heavier program like premiere, I don't know how it will do there!

The only thing I overlooked is that the G, besides meaning Graphics, which means it also has an integrated APU (GPU) in short, is that the L3 Cache is 16MB compared to the other 5600s (whether X or not) which have 32MB. Don't think that there is any significant difference, I just recommend it if someone doesn't have money for a standalone GPU or to have a backup in case the standalone GPU fails. Anyway, the difference from the 2600X I had is huge.

A 5600G happened to fall into my hands by chance from a used PC and I decided to try it out. With 3200 G.Skill Ripjaws and a decent cooler, I set PBO auto, -20 all cores, +100 positive as I always do with all the small AMD processors and it scores 11400 in cinebench r23, which I have never seen before, not even with a 5600x on the same settings. I set +200 positive, it sticks at 4.65 all cores - 72 watts and gives me 11790 in cinebench r23, just below a 5700x stock with the same memory. Almost 12000 cinebench r23, with a six-core at 72 watts, I never expected to see that. I don't know what AMD has done with this processor, I don't know if it's just a particularly good chip, but it's 9% above the 5600x with the same memory, same settings. That's all

I have built my PC with this processor for two years with its own cooler and thermal paste, and it still maintains very good temperatures and speeds. I used it with the internal graphics card for 3 weeks until my graphics card arrived, and it proved to be quite satisfactory playing fairly demanding games with good speeds. I am very pleased with its performance and would recommend it for building a mid-end PC.

I have had the processor for 1.5 years, the first 2 months it was plain without a graphics card and it reached 60fps at 1080p in most games. Now that I have added a 6600, they work very well together and I play all games at 1080 165fps. I have the stock cooler and it does its job just fine; after 1.5 years it doesn't go above 60 degrees

Hogwarts Legacy, Low graphics, 1080p 60Hz I was comfortably playing at 50-55 FPS. I think this speaks for itself about the processor.

Incredible APU ideal for office work, no issues with Microsoft Teams calls, OBS Studio, Word/Excel/Powerpoint. The definition of value-for-money at 120 euros which I got in February 2024. The system that was assembled is as follows:
    • Motherboard: Micro ATX Gigabyte B550M K
    • Be Quiet Pure Power 11 500W Full Wired 80 Plus Gold
    • RAM: G.Skill Aegis DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200Mhz

    • WiFi/Bluetooth Card: Gigabyte GC-WIFI7 BE5800 rev 1.0

It's a little monster, I don't have a graphics card and in terms of fps, it competes with almost all graphics cards under €180 with the integrated graphics. It has never exceeded 80 degrees in temperature, here I played Fortnite for 8 consecutive hours and as soon as I finished, it cooled down immediately, all with the stock cooler.

    1) Fortnite: on medium graphics (100-140 fps in matches), in creative it goes up to 280 and even surpasses that.

    2) GTA RP: on medium graphics (40-70 fps in the main square), it doesn't lag at all despite the low fps.

    3) Minecraft: everything on high (300+ fps easily).

    4) PC Building Simulator 2: on high graphics (60-80 fps), the game doesn't lag despite its low fps.

The processor obviously doesn't raise temperatures and runs all games under 75 degrees

If you want a low-budget PC and play some old or indie games without spending extra money on a graphics card, it's OK. If you already have a decent graphics card or can get one, then get the 5800X3D or some Ryzen 5 from the latest generation of AMD.

Not just good, very good. Especially at 115 euros. Uncomplicated, it doesn't lag anywhere.

I don't use it for gaming but I am a programmer. I program with it and edit photos and small videos without a graphics card without any issues. I have also used it for Unity in large projects and it didn't lag, but I also have 32GB of RAM. Although comparable Ryzen 7s have slightly better performance (which is noticeable) due to its price, I think the Ryzen 5 is preferable at this moment.

And this without overclocking. I've had it for a little while, it will show over the years. The cooler is also good, it hasn't raised the temperature even under heavy load for a long time.

I've had it for 1 year and it just works. The onboard graphics are satisfactory for basic games. However, if you're going to get a graphics card, get the Ryzen 5 5600x. The fan is silent; I have it on a Gigabyte DS3H motherboard. Edit: It's not as quiet as it was; if I start doing some encoding, it gets loud

It was plugged into a friend's PC with an RX 580 and it works great. The stock fan makes noise, of course, but it's free so can't complain. Don't forget to install the chipset drivers for your motherboard. Google the model of your motherboard's chipset, for example, if you have a B550, google B550 Drivers and download it from the AMD website. That's it, considering the price it's a steal, don't think too much about it.

The best CPU (APU, to be precise) with integrated graphics for what it offers and its price is clear. I don't think there is any doubt that if you want a PC to simply do your work, not spend a lot of money, and play a game or two, you're good to go. If I'm not mistaken, I get around 60 fps in GTA Online with low graphics (of course), it runs great. Fortnite, on the other hand, averages around 90 fps. Just keep in mind that if you want to later get a powerful graphics card, don't get this CPU because it doesn't support some features that aren't that important but why not have them (e.g. PCIe 4.0). If you're considering a card with performance like the 3060, you're okay with this processor as it has 0% bottleneck. For any questions, write here. I also have a video for a PC build with this CPU, costing around 600€.

That's all

I use it without a graphics card and in medium games like CS:GO at 78fps, Fortnite at 60fps

A reliable processor. I have never used it alone without a separate graphics card to mention its performance with the integrated graphics. I used it in a server machine. It never exceeded 37c with the pure rock 2.

    • Storage: Kingston A2000 250GB

Very good processor, but now from January 31, 2024, the new 5600gt and even superior 8000g series are being released. So it is not worth it anymore at 130 euros for the 5600g. Lower the price to 70-80 euros, otherwise they will remain on the shelf

It is a very good processor for its price combined with a Sapphire RX 6600. In long hours of use, it has not reached high temperatures with the stock cooler, running Battlefield V at 1080p on high settings and simultaneously having other applications open, staying below 80°C.
    My build is:
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B550 V2
    RAM: 16GB HyperX Beast 3200MHz

  • Purchased 3 years ago, but it still serves me for the use I make (light gaming, work, movies, surfing). It was bought at a time when cards were not at the best prices. It plays games like CS2, PUBG at max settings without problems. Today, judging by the quality I see and if I wanted an AM4 build, I would go straight for the corresponding 7 (with integrated graphics) since the price difference now is negligible

  • Back in 2021 when graphics cards were extremely expensive, this CPU was the best choice due to its integrated graphics.
