After a year of use, I can say that I would have preferred to have a manual juicer. The idea is that you put half the fruit on top and depending on where you apply more force, it twists from the corresponding side. The problem is that it gets confused and in the end, it doesn't twist at all. It takes you more time to figure out how much force to apply and from which side than anything else. The construction is not of good quality but given the price, you can't expect anything else.
I do not recommend it.
