It overheats dangerously. Five times the copying of a 25 Gbyte file from Mac stopped.. I imagine due to overheating.
It does its job, however it is very "tight" and puts a lot of pressure on the USB stick, resulting in needing effort to remove it
Incredible, practical, functional, and economical adapter does what it promises (supports USB 3.0 as well) I used it with a charger from Type C to a regular USB A cable and it worked perfectly for fast charging and as a bridge connection for an external hard drive that I have on my phone from the USB A cable of the hard drive to Type C via the adapter. September 10, 2024 so good that I bought it again
το δούλεψα και με φορτιστή από Type C σε απλό USB A καλώδιο και έκανε κανονικά fast charge και ως γέφυρα σύνδεσης ενός εξωτερικού σκληρού δίσκου που έχω στο κινητό από καλώδιο USB A του σκληρού δίσκου σε Type C μέσω του αντάπτορα.
It didn't work at all, I thought maybe it was my USB stick's fault but when I tried it with another adapter of the same type, it worked just fine.
For its cost, it is what it should be. The construction quality is a bit "fake" resulting in needing attention because it easily goes in and out. I have it consistently on my laptop and haven't encountered any issues.
It does what it promises at a good price. It does not affect speeds on USB sticks and does not present any problems. Excellent implementation by Powertech.
No complaints so far. Users just need to have their flash drive formatted to a standard (via computer configuration) that is supported by their mobile device before purchasing and using it. Search for it before using it.
