The Practi Man Advance manikin is used for interactive training in CPR, chest compressions, and rescue breathing. The three-position switch adjusts the compression simulation for a child, an adult, or unrestricted depth. It also allows trainees to practice the jaw thrust technique.
The airway system connects the nose, mouth, throat, and lung bag. Air is simulated entering the bag when the head is tilted back correctly and the nose is pinched shut. The one-way valve prevents material from the lung bag from reaching the trainee. The manikin has a fully enclosed head and skin compatible with training defibrillator electrodes.
