Gauzes suitable for wound care. The care of a simple wound that does not require surgery is a common procedure that all medical offices and clinics apply. It may seem straightforward; however, bandages and gauzes must be well-secured, and all hygiene rules must be strictly followed before their use.

What you need to know about applying a dressing:

  • Strictly adhere to all hygiene and sterilization conditions
  • Use sterilized scissors and other stainless steel surgical tools
  • Take the materials you are going to apply to the wound from the package, which should be kept away from the wound itself to avoid the risk of contamination
  • Hand sanitization with special disinfectants is essential both before and after changing the dressing
  • Do not touch the wound, and you should always wear gloves

Why use a protective dressing: The use of the dressing is very important in order to reduce pressure and allow all injured areas to be compensated. Finally, bandages and gauzes protect the wound from dust and external environmental conditions.
