I started using retinol for the first time a month ago. I am 50 years old. I wanted to let some time pass before giving a review.

First, let me say that I use it only once a week, after applying moisturizer first. Then I apply the retinol and then moisturizer again. The first week I had irritation and tightness in my skin, as well as the second week. The third week, much less, and the fourth week, absolutely nothing.

I have seen improvement in my skin to the point that I couldn't believe it.

Yes, I also agree with the reviews that mention the bottle and the product.

I didn't end up using it on my face, as I was afraid I might get pimples, because sometimes when I used it I noticed my skin getting a bit irritated. However, I have to say that it made a scratch scar on my hand disappear after systematic use for 3 months. The scar had already been on my hand for 3 months and I think without this product it might not have gone away yet. I will buy it again for similar problems and will try it only on my nasolabial folds. It is a bit thick for this kind of packaging as others have mentioned.

I started using it once a week for 2 weeks and I got a lot of pimples, that's what they say happens with retinol, however I continued for another 2 weeks using it twice a week and I ended up with a lot of pimples, to the point where I have stopped using it completely for 2 weeks now and I still look like I have acne. It may be normal, I don't know, however I regret the moment I put it on my face. I should point out that I don't belong to the sensitive skin category, I just get a pimple during my period.

I don't like the smell at all. Heavy. The packaging is not practical at all, I can't get the product out with this syringe. I don't have anything to say about the results, maybe after a month the results will show. I have a serum from the same company with mastic (white bottle) and it is MUCH better.

Overall, all the products of the company are very high quality. And quite affordable, they compete with the expensive ones. The only downside to this particular product is the packaging; you can't easily use the applicator with the specific glass tube. Other than that, it is an excellent product

absorbs immediately has a perfect texture that spreads easily without much quantity, ideal for retinol serum. I saw visible results. in general, sosstar has nice products very honest at very good prices.

4 stars due to poor packaging choice for the specific texture of the product. It is quite a thick serum to be in a bottle with a dropper, resulting in not being able to use all the quantity. However, very good serum, using it 3 times a week I saw good results. I would buy it again if it changed packaging.

For 2 years now I buy it again and again. My face has improved in every way. Maybe I would prefer a different packaging. With this one, a lot of product is wasted. (it stays on the walls of the bottle)

I didn't see any difference, nor does it absorb completely to assume that it hydrates your skin. Also, it is so thick that it cannot be pulled by the 'needle' (I don't know how that glass piece of the cap is called)

This is a creamy serum that is quickly absorbed and does not stick at all. After using it for 20 days, the expression lines on the forehead became less deep and the overall appearance of the skin improved. Retinol takes time to work. It has no scent and does not cause irritation. Of course, always use sunscreen the next day!

We bought this product because it contains retinol. When we opened the packaging, the product was so thick that the applicator couldn't even pull it. Is it supposed to be this thick??? I spoke to the pharmacy and asked them about its composition, and they told me to leave it in a cool place and check it again after a while!! Okay... I have been using retinol for at least 1 year now and it doesn't have a high percentage of retinol. My pimples came back after using it for about 2 months, which was the reason why I started using retinol. Personally, for me, who has increased the percentage of retinol over time, I won't buy it again, but it's suitable for someone who is starting for the first time. It is quite moisturizing (I have combination skin and it didn't work for me), so I believe it won't irritate someone with dry skin.

It has no scent, absorbs quickly. It is thick, I have never seen a similar texture before but it doesn't feel sticky. It definitely needs moisturizer on top.

I didn't have any particular issue except for the classic expression lines and dullness. I am 28 years old and I bought it completely randomly because I found value for money in the whole range. I saw a tremendous difference in my combination skin within a week, always in combination with high SPF sunscreen the next day because it causes photosensitivity.

It does not write on it nor the percentage of retinol it contains. Its composition is runny and it seems like it will finish quickly. I don't know if it works.

I bought the serum based on the positive reviews... I can't understand if it has any positive effect on the skin... what is certain is that after use it leaves a feeling of tightness and some small bites... however, it is a big omission that the percentage of retinol is not stated on the packaging... it is not possible for such a sensitive product not to mention its concentration... in response to a question I asked the company, they mentioned a retinol percentage of 4%. Very high concentration!!!! Not recommended for beginners..

For its price, I consider it a very fair product. It's worth a try. It's very affordable compared to branded ones and I think it performs well. I also tried the day cream with SPF 30 and it's not bad at all, even though it's so cheap!

Very good product. The thick texture is a bit strange and the pump seems like it doesn't work very well, it takes effort to dispense enough product but in the end, you manage. I personally use it in the lotion that I apply to my hair (redensyl 3%) to have a higher absorption rate. I add 5ml to every 60ml of lotion, and it perfectly meets my needs. Value for money

I applied it for two consecutive nights with the cream of the same company retinol-collagen and it caused irritation and pimples. Maybe I used too much quantity or I shouldn't have done it for 2 nights together. Obviously, it is a good product but its use should be done in moderation and unfortunately it does not have enough instructions for use, apart from the fact that you should apply sunscreen the next day.

Very good product with an excellent composition, not at all irritating, unbelievable for its price, wouldn't change it for anything. I would also like to add that its formulation is really thick, that's how the product is, but it absorbs easily without any residue and has results after the first month, like all retinol products.

Wonderful serum. Light texture, easy to apply, doesn't weigh down, gives a glowing face. It's truly amazing how it's priced so low, I consider it equal to the gold affair by Tommy G which costs 30€. I recommend it.

Incredible shine and smoothing of fine wrinkles. Despite the relatively low price, it is worth every last euro, especially for skin 30+ and above. Use with the matching retinol cream from the same company for even better results, ideally for at least a month. Neutral scent, did not cause irritation, peeling, or redness. Does not leave any greasiness. You may feel a slight tingling for a while, which is completely normal on clean skin because the retinol is working. Caution: do not use simultaneously with other chemical peels or acids such as AHA.
