How does it work?

Plant cells freeze when the perceived temperature drops below zero for a considerable amount of time. This usually occurs under conditions of intense evaporation of moisture on the leaves. Such conditions prevail in the early morning hours when the sun comes into direct contact with the leaves or when strong winds prevail.

The anti-frost fabric protects by allowing photosynthesis and proper respiration of the plants. It is made from hydrophobic material, which does not retain moisture, thus preventing the development of fungal diseases.
