Solgar's EPAGLA dietary supplement provides polyunsaturated GLA from borage oil and polyunsaturated omega-3 EPA and DHA from fish oils, as well as vitamin E from soy. It is cold-pressed and contains no additives. It is useful for cardiovascular health, for healthy skin, and for addressing inflammatory conditions.

    To any woman suffering from dysmenorrhea, I recommend it with my eyes closed, it saved my life. Before I started GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), I had periods lasting 2 weeks with heavy bleeding and labor-like pains (I gave birth to my son naturally so I know what I'm talking about). Without exaggeration, I felt like I was being electrocuted, even though I had no other underlying gynecological problems (neither endometriosis, nor fibroids, etc). None of the 17 gynecologists who examined me in Greece and England found an effective solution, even though they treated me like a guinea pig.
