  • It moderately dries out the skin

Overall, I consider FROIKA to be a top skincare company, and I have been using many of their products since my teenage years. This particular product was recommended by the dermatologist for my teenage daughter, who has normal skin but some scattered small pimples on her cheeks and forehead. However, she does not have excessive oiliness, redness, or pus-filled pimples. As long as she used it with a light moisturizer at night and in the morning, it worked great. When she stopped using the moisturizer to start a local treatment with another medicated cream, it caused significant dryness and flaking, something that was not observed when using another product (apivita). Perhaps it is more suitable for oilier skin types after all.

If this is the "mild" facial cleanser, I don't want to know what the regular one is like. I have dry, acne-prone skin (yes, really) and I used it with the products from the same line (sal peptide cream, toner, ac sunscreen) and while it did help with some cystic acne I had... I ended up with clogged pores. Because I started them all together as a treatment (God forbid, following the instructions of a dermatologist whom I will never see again), I can't say for sure if it's just this product or if it's all of them combined.
A complete disappointment... it personally pulls on my skin and leaves it feeling dry afterwards.
