I have dry, acne-prone skin (yes, really) and I used it with the products from the same line (sal peptide cream, toner, ac sunscreen) and while it did help with some cystic acne I had... I ended up with clogged pores. Because I started them all together as a treatment (God forbid, following the instructions of a dermatologist whom I will never see again), I can't say for sure if it's just this product or if it's all of them combined.
A complete disappointment... it personally pulls on my skin and leaves it feeling dry afterwards.
