Ninety-three years old. The end is not far away. But what luck I have to remind us all of what constituted the foundation of my political action: the program formulated 67 years ago by the National Council of the Resistance!, writes the resistance fighter Stéphane Hessel.

For Stéphane Hessel, the primary motivation of the Resistance was indignation. Surely, the causes that provoke indignation in today's complex world seem less clear than in the time of Nazism. The race of 'more and more', competition, the dictatorship of financial markets, the assault on the rights secured by the Resistance - pensions, social security...

However, to be effective, we must, as in the past, network and act collectively. Let us therefore listen to Stéphane Hessel, who calls us to a 'peaceful uprising'.
