Description

Elder Aimilianos was one of the most important figures of the 21st century. He was a truly tireless worker of the gospel.

Reading the interpretation of the psalms addressed by the elder, one realizes that within them there is a pervasive spirituality, morality, struggle, and hope of the psalmist towards the Creator God.

In most psalms, the psalmists seek to see God or rather to be seen by God. He is the Light and the Life. We discern the longing of the prophet David and the other poets of the time to unite with the Lord. They cry out to God with eagerness, with anticipation. Their whole life is God Himself. They live to serve Him as humble servants who, although often succumbing to sins, seek forgiveness.
