    I bought it without realizing that it doesn't have a switch for different egg boiling options, like soft-boiled, hard-boiled, or medium. It only has a general button that you press to boil without any further options. Now I will have to buy another device that has 3 options

    It turns off by itself when the water evaporates, but... it turns on again when the temperature drops!
