AXRX 6600XT 8GBD6-3DH

Main Specifications

Processor Manufacturer

AMD

Processor Manufacturer

AMD

AMD chipset cards are characterized by more affordable options and are mainly aimed at the mid-range category, as currently in the high-performance graphics card market, nVIDIA is dominant.

Chipset Model

Radeon RX 6600 XT

Chipset Model

The main graphics processing chip of the card. It is the most basic characteristic and indicative of its performance.

Interface

PCI Express x8 4.0

Interface

The version of the PCI Express connection used for installing the graphics card on the motherboard.

The most widespread version is 4.0, while the latest generation cards use 5.0.

Maximum Resolution

7680x4320 pixels

Parallel Processing Technology

Crossfire / CrossfireX

Parallel Processing Technology

Ability to use multiple graphics cards simultaneously on a computer. Support for the corresponding technology is required from the motherboard.

This is intended for experienced users with a need for particularly high performance.

Type

Middle Range

Type

Middle Range

Cards that can run satisfactorily to exceptionally, games with resolutions up to Full HD (1920x1080)

Cuda Cores

-

Cuda Cores

CUDA Cores are processing units in NVIDIA graphics cards that allow the simultaneous execution of many computational tasks. They accelerate the process of graphics processing, as well as other demanding tasks such as machine learning and data processing.

Special Features

RGB Lighting

No

RGB Lighting

It features built-in multicolored LED lighting.

OverClock (OC)

No

OverClock (OC)

Overclocking (OC) increases the frequencies of the core and the memory (VRAM) of the card for higher FPS and faster graphics processing. It is achieved by increasing the Power Limit and voltage, but requires strong cooling to prevent overheating.

Air-cooled

Yes

Air-cooled

The graphics card is cooled by one or more fans. 2. The most common way of cooling.

Low Profile

No

Low Profile

Small-sized graphics cards.

They are commonly used in computers with small cases.

Passive Cooling

No

Passive Cooling

The graphics card cools passively, without the use of fans. They are used in cards that are not as powerful, for building a silent computer or HTPC.

Water-cooled

No

Water-cooled

Graphics cards with a waiting connection to a liquid cooling system. They cannot operate without it. Usually found in powerful graphics cards aimed at experienced and demanding users.

External Graphics Card (eGPU)

No

External Graphics Card (eGPU)

A graphics card that has its own box with its own power supply and cooling.

Usually intended for use with laptops, offering the highest performance of a desktop graphics card.

LHR

No

LHR

The LHR (Lite Hash Rate) technology was introduced by NVIDIA to limit the performance of graphics cards in cryptocurrency mining. The goal was to make the cards less attractive to miners, in order to increase availability and reduce prices for gamers. It is important to note that this limitation only affects mining and does not impact the card’s performance in games or graphic applications at all.

Memory

Memory Capacity

8 GB

Memory Capacity

The amount of RAM memory that the graphics card has. Important for demanding games and applications at high resolutions. It is recommended that the card has 4GB or more for gaming.

Memory type

GDDR6

Memory type

RAM memory standards for graphics cards. Most modern cards have GDDR5 or GDDR6.

Memory Speed

-

Memory bus

128 bit

Memory bus

The size of the communication channel between the chipset and the RAM of the graphics card. In combination with the processor's base clock speed, it determines the volume of data (which translates into graphics resolution and quality) that can be directed to the graphics card processor.

Connectivity

HDMI

1

HDMI

A modern way of digitally transmitting image and sound, compatible with DisplayPort and DVI through an adapter.

DisplayPort

3

DisplayPort

Modern way of digital transfer of image, sound and data, compatible with HDMI and DVI through an adapter.

Dual Link DVI

No

Dual Link DVI

The Dual version supports higher resolutions compared to the simple one. DVI is an older digital method of image transfer, partially compatible with HDMI cables through an adapter.

System Requirements

Minimum Power Supply

500 W

Minimum Power Supply

The minimum power supply required for proper operation of the graphics card in a computer. Mainly applies to modern and powerful graphics cards with particularly high demands. Most power supplies now are over 500W, covering the needs of an average graphics card. In any case, we must confirm that our power supply meets the requirements of the graphics card.

Power Connectors

8-pin

Power Connectors

The type of additional power supply that the card needs directly from the power supply.
