Vitex with VAIRO paint is designed for interior walls and leaves a velvet matt (eggshell) finish. VAIRO Healthcare Technology is based on silver ions encapsulated in an inorganic matrix, giving the paint film antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. The film limits the transfer of viruses and the spread of bacteria across its surface, while resisting the absorption of common household stains for easier cleaning.
Its antiviral and antibacterial activity has been assessed in accordance with ISO 21702 and ISO 22196, with a reduction in microorganisms of 99–99.99%. Painted surfaces have demonstrated antiviral activity of over 99.9% against SARS-CoV-2 after 3 hours of contact. The paint is also certified Indoor Air Comfort GOLD and has almost zero VOC emissions. For application, the surface must be clean, dry and smooth. Dilute the product with up to 10% water and apply using a roller, brush or airless sprayer. Apply a second coat after 3–4 hours.
