The VITEX with VAIRO is a wall paint with a velvety matte (eggshell) finish that possesses Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial properties for indoor use. Its composition helps create a dry film against the transfer of viruses and limits the spread and propagation of bacteria on its surface. VAIRO Healthcare Technology is based on silver ions suitably encapsulated in an inorganic matrix, allowing for controlled release under both wet and dry conditions. At the same time, it achieves a slippery hydrophilic surface that becomes inhospitable to viruses and bacteria. The antiviral and antibacterial action of the paint has been evaluated according to the standards ISO 21702, ISO 22196, and OECD guidance for the effectiveness of biocidal products, with results showing a reduction of microorganisms by 99 – 99.99%.

Interior wall surfaces painted with VITEX with VAIRO offer protection against bacteria such as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumannii, Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus, E.Coli, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, as well as protection against the H1N1 influenza virus and coronaviruses. Designed with surface protection technology, the film of the paint has resistance to absorption from common household stains, making their removal easier.

For proper application, surfaces must be clean, dry, and smooth, free of dust and oils. Vitex with VAIRO can be applied directly to already painted surfaces without any special issues.
