More than 3,300 phrases and expressions have been compiled by the author in this very interesting and useful dictionary. The dictionary also incorporates elements from earlier periods of Greek literature.

The author had the brilliantly simple idea to search for and find not only the most commonly used ancient Greek words in modern Greek texts, but also the phrases we use without knowing their origins.
