The Milwaukee Shockwave step drill bit drills holes in sheet metal, profiles and pipes, as well as copper, brass, aluminium, stainless steel and plastics. It is designed for use with impact drivers and has drilling steps from 4 to 20 mm, in 2 mm increments.

The titanium aluminium nitride (TiAlN) coating helps reduce heat build-up and offers up to 5 times longer life compared with a standard drill bit. The Rapid Strike tip enables precise starting without slipping, while the cutting edges and dual spiral flutes allow holes to be drilled up to 2 times faster than with a standard drill bit. The ¼" hex shank has a SHOCKZONE zone for greater resistance to breakage, and the size markings are laser-etched.
